GNR still effin’ shit up
This article makes me pretty happy for a number of reasons. First of all, it means that the police can still have a sense of humor. None of the kids were shot, tased, or hurt. Secondly, it means that Guns N’ Roses still scares the shit out of authority figures. Sorry Lauren, but if this happened to you and nobody got hurt, I’d probably laugh. Finally but most importantly, it means that kids are still listening to Guns N’ Roses. Appetite for Destruction is over twenty years old this year and it still fucking rocks. I have a feeling these particular mini rockers were probably introduced to GNR via Guitar Hero III and I’d wager that at least a couple of them have checked out their parents’ music stash for traces of GNR since then. Use Your Illusion II was the first album I bought with my hard saved money and my face almost melted off. Parental Advisory Explicit Lyrics? I can’t wait to someday advise my kids to buy some old GNR albums. God only knows what would have happened though if Locomotive had been on Guitar Hero instead.
