Zack has been making incremental updates for a while - I’ve been busy getting traumatized by graduate school. I did notice, though, that some of my feeds had stopped working. Eventually, Zack and I traced the problem to Blogger’s new (unBeta’d) version. Apparently, the querystring variable we’ve been adding to avoid caching feeds, which had been a major problem for some feeds like the New York Times news feed, was breaking Blogger. It’s pretty strange that a querystring variable would break a feed, but there it is. For now, we have a blacklist of domains whose feeds are not appended with a random querystring.
